With only a few days to go until the election, the momentum for President Trump continues. In today's report, we cover astronaut Buzz Aldrin's endorsement of Trump, the Washington Post's non-endorsement of any candidate, and victories in election integrity.
Astronaut, engineer, fighter pilot, Brigadier General, and the second man to walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin has released a statement endorsing Trump for President.
"Over the years, I have seen our government's approach to space wax and wane, a fluctuating dynamic that has disappointed me from time to time. But under the first Trump Administration, I was impressed to see how human space exploration was elevated, made a policy of high importance again. Under President Trump's first term, America saw a revitalized interest in space. His Administration reignited national efforts to get back to the Moon, and push on to Mars – programs that continue today. "
"Most citizens rightly consider it an honor to cast their vote for a leader they believe will best serve the Nation – our government by, for and of the people. For me, for the future of our Nation, to meet enormous challenges, and for the proven policy accomplishments above, I believe the nation is best served by voting for Donald J. Trump. I wholeheartedly endorse him for President of the United States. Godspeed President Trump, and God Bless the United States of America."
The Supreme Court on October 30 cleared the way for Virginia to remove 1,600 individuals from its voter rolls ahead of Election Day, overturning a previous lower court decision that had blocked the effort.
A Pennsylvania judge, also on October 30, sided with Donald Trump's campaign and agreed to extend an in-person voting option in suburban Philadelphia, where long lines on the final day led to complaints that voters were being disenfranchised by an unprepared election office.
In Michigan, RNC co-chair Lara Trump reported that their election integrity team received reports of thousands of duplicate ballots in that state. They investigated and confirmed that it was a glitch in the system and these duplicates were not and will not be counted.
