The Saturday Wrap-Up - Trump Goes Toe to Toe with the British Financial Empire - February 22, 2025
Yesterday marked the fifth week of Donald J. Trump's presidency, and we delve into four major developments that defined the week.
Trump supporters are showing incredible enthusiasm across the nation. From a packed rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Vietnamese-American gatherings in Houston. We are actively engaging with local GOP events, promoting Trump's 2024 GOP Platform, and rallying voters.
Despite unbearable heat and humidity, thousands of Trump supporters flocked to the Minnesota Trump rally at the St. Cloud State Hockey Arena, on Saturday, July 27. The maximum occupancy of 8,000 was reached, and 15,000 more waited for 5-10 hours in a line stretching out for at least a mile. The grit was shown by the forgotten men and women – workers, farmers, retirees, and young voters. One woman, when this reporter asked if this turn of events would sour supporters' approval of President Trump, said, "No, people are here because we need a change, and we need Trump. The country won't make it without him." Supporters from all over the country were present.
As at other Trump rallies, the level of kindness, joy, and caring, was abundant. Many elderly succumbed to heat distress, but were always assisted by fellow rally goers. Adding to a festive atmosphere, one African American Senate candidate's bus drove up and down the streets, blaring Trump's campaign theme and other country and western music! Vendors using zingy slogans walked the lines, and scores of public safety personnel were seen in ATV's and on horseback!
President Trump's speech was one of optimism:
"A world in chaos will rapidly be transformed into a planet of peace... The American dream will come back bigger, better, and stronger, than ever before!"
He described the chaos and lawlessness in Minneapolis during the George Floyd riots, and how he sent in the National Guard, after Gov. Walz refused. J.D. Vance reminded the audience that Kamala Harris raised money to bail out the looters and burners.
St. Cloud, named the Granite City for its history since the 1880's of granite mining, attracted many European immigrants, who became farmers, artisans, and brewers. The county voted 60% for Trump in 2020. The area has lost many manufacturing jobs due to Bidenomics.
One could tangibly feel the optimism and joy wafting in the rally atmosphere. It was a joy to be there !
It's hard for those who work and are not generally on the internet to find pertinent content concerning what Trump is up to. That's a problem as the censorship machine is working overtime. For example, Google, Meta, and Chat GPT spent this morning trying to wipe out the images and search engines concerning the Butler assassination. We're going to fill in the gap here, with our new feature, Trump Watch! We'll post raw links of the most important campaign news, memes and events and provide short summaries of what is most important and developing twice weekly or more as needed.
