Although we are not presently using them, ProAct may use Google Analytics and/or Hotjar in the future to help understand use and web traffic flow on the Website.  These services collect the information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including cookies and your IP address. ProAct may use the Facebook custom audiences feature, although we are not currently using it. This service allows us to better understand the demographics of our website visitors, and it also allows us to reach users on Facebook to bring them targeted messages that might be useful. By using the Website, third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from ProAct’s domains and websites, and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads. We receive payments for memberships in Promethean Action and may receive contributions for other products and services.  We use third-party payment platforms for processing of payments via credit card from the website and related social media, from phone solicitations or in person solicitations.  .

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Our third-party payment platforms whose use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment platforms adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

 Termination and Other Issues

Following termination or deactivation of your ProAct account, ProAct may retain your profile information and user content for a reasonable time for archival purposes. Furthermore, ProAct may retain and continue to use indefinitely all information (including user content) contained isn your communications to other users or posted to public or semi-public areas of the Website after termination or deactivation of your account.

ProAct reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor the user content you post or submit on the Website.
