Susan Kokinda: [00:00:00] Hello, everybody. This is Susan Kokinda with your Midweek Update. Today is December 11th. And we are almost halfway through the transition period, and it is a period which is going to stand as one of the more singular transitions in our history, because it's not simply going from one administration to another or from one party to another.

We're going through a phase shift, which can and must take us out of the globalist, empire based system of the entire post World War II era and put us into a future dominated by sovereign nations to be led soon by the Trump 47 presidency. Now such a shift brings about turbulence and there is plenty of that internationally and domestically.

The rapid fall of the government of Syria's Assad is only the most prominent development of that in the past week. [00:01:00] And while the particulars are quite different, you also have the recent collapse or turmoil of the German government, the French government, the South Korean government, and the overturning of the Romanian elections.

If you turn to the United States, you have the expected but continuing efforts to sabotage the incoming Trump presidency with pushback against his nominees and a National Defense Authorization Act looming, which is loaded with poison pills, as Roger Stone warned on his website on Monday.

Throw in the public assassination of the UnitedHealthcare CEO on a Manhattan street. And a level of social media cheering on of that murder, which points to a real or manipulated level of Jacobin anger, and you can see the potential for social instability.

But what we are facing is more than just flying through thunderstorm type turbulence. [00:02:00] This is more like what you experience when you go from subsonic flight to supersonic flight. The principles are different on different sides of the sound barrier, and if you don't take that into account, you're going to lose control and you're going to crash your plane.

Let's start with the difference between Trump 47 and the earlier Trump 45 administration. Start with the transition itself. As I mentioned in last week's update, Trump knows he wasn't prepared for what came with his surprise victory in 2016.

This time, he and his entire team, a team which was put in place before he was even elected, understand the nature of the serpent's den that is Washington, D. C. The bulk of his appointees in his first administration, whether they were good or bad, they were not really chosen to upend 50 to [00:03:00] 100 years of subversion.

They were chosen to implement dramatic policy changes. But what became abundantly clear is that you're not allowed to do that, not in the political phase space of the imperial principles which have dominated our country, and which are then enforced by war, central banks, PSYOPs, and lawfare. Donald Trump now knows that he will only be able to implement dramatic policy changes by obliterating the apparatus of empire.

You can call it the deep state. Or the fourth branch of government or the administrative state, but it is something alien and unconstitutional. And it is clear with the choices of people like Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel, and others, that Trump knows that the apparatus must be destroyed, and he's out to do it.

So, look [00:04:00] at the nature of the confirmation fight itself. There is a new factor this time. It's you, the American people. The MAGA movement engaged in a historic battle to get Trump elected, and it is now mobilized, to give him the government he wants and needs. In the cases of both Pete Hegseth and Tulsi Gabbard, there's been a powerful mobilization of veterans, a contingent of former Navy SEALs visiting senators on Hegseth's behalf, was a critical element in beginning to turn the tide back in his favor.

In the case of Tulsi Gabbard, whose appointment as Director of National Intelligence is seen by the deep state as a mortal threat, Donald Trump himself put out a statement pointing to the fact that 250 plus U. S. military veterans, including Medal of Honor recipients, have signed a letter supporting her nomination, lauding her as, quote, [00:05:00] a warrior whose vote cannot be bought, unquote.

And to give that powerful support some political teeth, there is now the very real threat of being primaried if you don't support Trump's nominees. And that is clearly having an effect on some senators very visibly in the case of Joni Ernst of Iowa.

Now, Promethean PAC is continuing to mobilize around its petition, Confirm Them All, and will continue to focus on Senators whose support for Trump's nominees has are not solid. During the 2024 campaign, I coined the term Trinos, Trumpers in name only. So in addition to the Senators who are on the fence and who fall in the Trino or Rino category that we mentioned last week, we're going to add a new one, North Carolina's Tom Tillis.

And it's nice to know that Laura Trump might be out there as a [00:06:00] potential primary opponent of Tillis's. But before we even get to the confirmation votes in 2025, another major point of sabotage of Trump 47 is the National Defense Authorization Act, which is now before the House and the Senate. On Monday, Roger Stone, a longtime Trump ally, headlined his post, Deep State Seeks to Kneecap Trump Before He Even Takes Office Through the NDAA.

Stone warned, quote, It represents a calculated effort by Congress to hamstring President Trump's incoming administration entrench progressive priorities and strip the executive branch of its constitutional authority. Unquote. The most obvious and egregious provision of the NDAA is that it bakes in perpetual support for Ukraine and takes key negotiating [00:07:00] positions over the question of territory, off the table.

It also extends the perpetual war paradigm to the Indo Pacific and undermines U. S. sovereignty. Links to Stone's Post and Barbara Boyd's analysis of it can be found in the description below.

Now, this is just the opening salvo in a battle which transcends even these important issues. As with the confirmation fights, the question before us is, can we actually return Congress to its proper role? A blogger recently put it this way, Trump and his supporters must move heaven and earth to drag Congress, the first branch of government, to back toward its proper constitutional functions and powers.

We agree. Congress has to stop being a rubber stamp for the administrative state and the imperial policies which it serves. [00:08:00] That necessitates a non stop mobilization, which, if needed, will culminate in replacing those members of Congress in 2026. With people who actually wanna be congressmen and not inside the beltway drones.

This is not a simple task. It starts with unrelenting pressure on your congressman now and throughout 2025 and 2026. And if you have to replace your congressman by flipping a district or dumping a rhino or rhino, incumbent, you have to prepare yourself. And you have to qualify candidates to understand the fundamental nature of this phase shift.

Frankly, being against the obviously bad policies isn't enough. What are the underlying principles which distinguish Trump and his team from everyone else? Yes, the Trump Vance team is against war. And it's against the Wall Street policies of free trade and the [00:09:00] financialization of everything. But what do you replace those policies with?

Trump's unrelenting focus. And the importance of tariffs is a first step. Look at the Sunday Meet the Press interview with Kristen Welker. All Welker and the rest of her tribe can do is repeat the monetarist mantra that tariffs will make prices go up, because after all, the economy is only about money.

As Promethean Actions Ben Deniston has been developing in our Saturday Class series, American economics is about increasing the productive powers of labor through scientific breakthroughs, technological advancements, and investments directed into making that happen.

Elon Musk said it last week, quote, To improve the true economy, which is output of useful products and services, we need to shift people from low to negative productive jobs in government [00:10:00] to high productivity jobs in the private sector. This is what really matters at a fundamental level unquote.

Understanding this new language of economics, which Trump, Vance, and Musk do, and mastering it, is fundamental if we're going to return the first branch of government to its constitutional purpose.

This brings me back to the image I used earlier. of a plane going through the sound barrier. When you go from the subsonic to supersonic flight, It's not just a question of going faster. The fundamental aspects of flight, like lift and drag, change dramatically.

For example, shock waves form around the aircraft. This alters pressure distribution and it increases drag. The very design of an aircraft for supersonic flight must be dramatically different, taking all of these things into [00:11:00] account. You cannot get through this trans sonic domain that is between sub and supersonic without creating a new aircraft. Right now we are in a transonic domain moving from one to another and as the physical description above says one which includes the onset of shockwaves.

So, let's turn to the international side of things, starting with Syria. The fall of the Assad government reflects the intersection of two things. First, as Barbara Boyd described extensively in her Monday Brief, Syria has been a target for regime change by the Anglo American Imperium for two decades, along with too many other nations that have been plunged into chaos at various times like Iraq and Libya.

The instrument for this has been the British created Muslim Brotherhood forces, which today in Syria are presenting themselves as a [00:12:00] kinder, gentler al Qaeda. But while Assad previously staved off the original Obama administration led attack, he failed to deal with the political and economic crises in his country, and left himself open to the rapid fall of his government.

As Syria's own ambassador to Moscow, Bashir al Jafari said, quote, The collapse of the corrupt system in a matter of days, is evidence of its unpopularity and lack of support both in society and among the army and the armed forces. Unquote. I had the opportunity to listen to a speech given by al Jafari over 10 years ago when he was the Syrian ambassador to the UN.

He gave a historically grounded, very articulate explanation of the forces at work in the regime change policies of the Anglo Americans in his then defense, of the Assad government. So his [00:13:00] comments from Moscow should be taken seriously.

Now, where does that leave us? We're in a period of tremendous instability with both Israel and Turkey jockeying for parts of Syria and Iran pondering what its future role will be. This, of course, is embedded in the rest of the crisis in the Middle East. It was extremely important that Trump announced that the U. S. has to stay out of this, making clear that his foreign policy will not be an appendage of the Anglo American great game which has killed so many in the Mideast.

And the Mideast is perhaps the best example of the fact that it's not enough to simply reject the policies of the subsonic domain. You actually have to create a vehicle, and in this case a policy, that can get you through the transonic turbulence into a new domain. The Abraham Accords, which Trump was carefully negotiating in his first term, contain the [00:14:00] elements of such a new policy. But we'll have to be deepened given the new instabilities created by the Biden administration on its way out.

And since we're using the metaphor of sub and supersonic flight, let's turn to the reality of actual hypersonic flight itself. As is pretty obvious, Russia's deployment of the Oreshnik supersonic missile is an absolute strategic game changer, given the fact that there are no defenses against it, and the United States, with its bloated military industrial complex, has not solved the problems of developing its own.

Here are a few of the challenges in hypersonic flight. You have to deal with significant thermal and chemical reactions in the surrounding air. You have to deal with molecular bonds vibrating and breaking apart, creating electrically charged plasma. You have to deal with [00:15:00] extreme heat generation, requiring specialized materials and cooling systems. Just as the supersonic domain is different from the subsonic, the hypersonic is dramatically more complex, and the Russians have figured it out.

Now , Russian President Putin dropped a bombshell, no pun intended, this week when he said, quote, Basically, now, we need to improve the Oreshnik missile, not the nuclear doctrine. He continued, if we take a closer look, a sufficient amount of these cutting edge weapons systems will actually eliminate the need for the use of nuclear weapons. Think about that. For the entire post war period, the world has been, in essence, held hostage to nuclear weapons and doctrines such as mutual and assured destruction.

A couple of the key figures. in imposing and enforcing those [00:16:00] policies are Lord Bertrand Russell and Henry Kissinger, who publicly said he kept the British Foreign Office more closely informed than the U. S. State Department when he was serving as Secretary of State.

Ronald Reagan, with some significant help from Lyndon LaRouche, whom many of us at Promethean Action work with, tried to stop that with the announcement of the Strategic Defense Initiative, which was based on new physical principles. The Anglo American elite would not tolerate that, either for economic or strategic reasons. That elite, along with its structures and principles, must now be defeated once and for all.

So here we are on the cusp of not just a new administration, but potentially a new era, one based on the principles of the American revolution, which rejected empire and created a constitutional republic.

The principles of the American [00:17:00] republic are the ones we need to revive and advance, if we're going to get through this transonic turbulence. This has been your Mid Week Update. Thanks for listening.
